Vision

At NCO, we envision healthy and safe communities with equitable opportunities for all.

Purpose

We empower people to transform their lives through our vital services, acting as a community leader to build economic justice and well-being for all.

Values

Focus our energy for greatest impact
We collaborate and respond to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Learn from challenge and change
We look for opportunities to innovate and forge new paths.

Demonstrate respect and integrity
We treat individuals - including their ideas and expressions - with dignity, honesty, and fairness.

Foster excellence & resiliency
We value our dedicated teams that provide high-quality services, and we commit to offering opportunities that build and maintain resilience in our people and those we serve.

Honor justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
We welcome every opportunity to enrich our organization and our work with the experiences and perspectives that are expressed through each person’s race, culture, religion, mental or physical abilities, heritage, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

We are a private non-profit corporation focused on serving Lake and Mendocino Counties, as well as Del Norte, Humboldt, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties.

Members of NCO’s Governing Board include representatives of locally elected officials and people from the local community.

NCO values diversity and everyone is welcome, no matter a person's ethnicity, age, religion, country of origin, language, abilities, sexual orientation, or gender.
