2022 marks the 58th year since the Community Action Network was established to help American families and communities overcome obstacles to poverty. This year, NCO, a proud member of the Community Action Network, will also commemorate 54 years helping families throughout Mendocino and Lake Counties, as well as parts of Humboldt, Del Norte, Sonoma, Solano and Napa Counties.

On March 18th, NCO Building Homes, Building Lives (BHBL) graduated its 5th cohort of participants. In a small ceremony at NCO's Olympic Drive offices in Clearlake, the three graduates received a certificate of completion, letter of recommendation, power tools, and the highly-coveted BHBL sweatshirt.

Each year, one organization is recognized by Community Alliance with Family Farmers for their “proven commitment to local food, sustainability, and supporting family farmers by forging strong and equitable partnerships between the farm and plate.”
