Head Start Child Development Program in Lake & Mendocino Counties
The North Coast Opportunities, Inc. Head Start Child Development Program (NCO HSCDP) is a non-profit agency offering a comprehensive, family-focused child development program. The services provided to children and their families include:

- Mental Health
- Nutrition
- Education
- Disabilities
- Referrals
- Free healthy meals
- Parent engagement
The program focuses on empowering children, staff, and families reach their highest potentital.
Additional Program Facts:
- The program serves children birth to five years of age in Mendocino County, and children aged three to five years of age in Lake County.
- Ten percent of the program’s enrollment must be children with a certified disability. Children with disabiltiies are always welcome in our program.
- Ten percent of our enrollment may be children whose family income exceeds the federal poverty guidelines.
- Services are offered in both English and Spanish.
