Community action improves communities by changing lives one senior, adult, and child at a time. Only with collaboration with and active participation from community members, can we build strong, vibrant, and compassionate communities in which all can thrive. We invite you to join us in our movement to bring opportunity, hope, and resiliency to all families. When you contribute to NCO, you are making a commitment to the kind of community in which you want to live and the community you wish to build for the future.
"During the last year of this pandemic NCO elevated hope in a community of despair. Our undocumented immigrant community, those who work so hard in the agricultural fields, could not work early on in the Pandemic; and didn’t have the ability to collect unemployment benefits or government assistance. NCO, through the GCIR funding, helped so many families stay housed, stay clothed and stay fed.
NCO makes a difference in the everyday lives of the people they serve because they offer so many different services to help meet a family's basic needs, whether it be food… child care, rental assistance or emergency preparedness. "
-Ana Santana, NCO Board of Directors
