Rural Communities Child Care offers services to families throughout Lake and Mendocino Counties, including the Alternative Payment Program (AP), Resouce and Referral (R&R), Child Care Food Program (CCFP) and Toybrary.

	AP subsidized child care payments for more that 1,200 children each month. Eligible families are those who are working, in school or training, or referred by a licensed professional to prevent the risk of abuse or neglect.
	R&R provides parents with referrals to licensed child care facilities and assists them to understand the importance of choosing quality child care. R&R also provides ongoing training and assistance to day care facilities.
	CCFP reimburses licensed family day care homes for nutritious meals and snacks provided to children in their care. More that 130 day care homes participate in this program, serving more that 1,200 children each month.
	Toybrary is a free toy and resource lending library.
