Child Care Food Program
The Child Care Food Program is a federal program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service through the California Department of Education. The program offers reimbursement for meals and snacks served to children in care through age 12 who are in care with a participating licensed family child care provider. To qualify for reimbursement, meals served must meet minimum quantity and component requirements appropriate to the specific age of the child as defined by the Child Care Food Program Meal Pattern. Participants are required to keep records daily including actual attendance with sign-in and sign-out logs and meal production records listing all food items served. For more information or to enroll, please contact your local Resource & Referral Specialist or call (707) 994-4647 ext. 28. |
