Raising a Healthy Generation: A Physical Activity Forum

May 9, 2015 event -- Ukiah, CA

Calling all early childhood educators, health clinicians, family resource center staff, parents, and childcare providers! Learn how to activate children's neural pathways with physical activity. Get the right tools to teach our kids (children ages 0-10 years old... and beyond!) the fundamental movement skills for a lifetime of healthy activity. Physical activity does not just have to happen during P.E. or on the sports field... it can be easily integrated into the classroom, the office, and the home. This forum will provide concrete, hands-on learning, the science behind the activities, and an opportunity to network with other parents, teachers, and service providers who are also dedicated to raising a healthy generation.

Register for this FREE training forum at www.eventbrite.com (simply search for "Raising a Healthy Generation"). Please plan on arriving by 9:30am, enjoying a day of fitness and learning, then concluding the day by 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided thanks to a partnership with FIRST 5 Mendocino. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes... be ready to be active!

Presenter bio and information at http://pkimbrell.com/AboutPatty.htm

This training is brought to you thanks to a SNAP-Ed grant from the USDA in partnership with the Mendocino County Department of Social Services, North Coast Opportunities, and FIRST5 Mendocino.
