The North Ukiah Head Start site is located next to the Frank Zeek Elementary School, in the Pre-School Village.
Head Start is a family-focused program serving ages 3-5 years old and is opened September through May. There are two half-day sessions, hours are from 8:00am - 11:45am and 12:15pm - 4:00pm.
Each session is served two meals, which are prepared on site. Each class has 19 children and three teachers, each classroom has a bi-lingual teacher.
Head Start provides dental, vision, and hearing screenings. Parent's are a daily part of our program, helping to make the best decisions for our program.
